Qantas – Política comercial para os clientes afetados pelo fechamento do espaço aéreo no Oriente Médio

Para os clientes afetados pelo encerramento do espaço aéreo do Médio Oriente, estamos a oferecer opções flexíveis para viajar para, a partir de ou via Europa e Austrália.

Não há impacto nos voos operados pela Qantas, incluindo os voos entre Singapura e Londres, e entre Perth e Paris. No entanto, o QF9 de Perth para Londres poderá operar via Singapura para uma escala de combustível devido a ajustes necessários nas rotas de voo, e informaremos os clientes sobre isso antes da partida.

Note que o QF9 irá operar sob o número de voo atualizado QF209. O horário de partida poderá ser diferente do originalmente emitido no bilhete. Recomenda-se aos clientes que verifiquem os horários de partida mais recentes antes de viajar.

Capacidade adicional nos serviços da Qantas

Para apoiar os clientes que viajam para o Reino Unido e Europa, um serviço adicional só de ida em A380 de Sydney para Londres via Singapura irá operar este sábado, já disponível para reserva, para acomodar 485 clientes adicionais.

Atualmente, há disponibilidade limitada nos serviços diretos da Qantas para e da Europa nas próximas semanas. Os clientes ainda podem reservar voos para a Europa através de outras rotas, incluindo Ásia, Joanesburgo, e América do Norte e do Sul.

·        Reagendar para outro voo operado pela mesma companhia com a mesma origem e destino.

·        Reagendar para um voo operado por uma companhia diferente, sujeito às regras normais de tarifa, condições e restrições de rotas.

·        Manter o valor do bilhete como crédito.

·        Obter um reembolso, quando elegível.

EMIRATES – Limited operations due to airspace closures – UPDATE

All scheduled Emirates flights to and from Dubai remain suspended until 2359hrs UAE time on 7 March, due to airspace closures across the region.  

Emirates continues to operate a limited flight schedule. We are accommodating customers with earlier bookings as a priority on these limited flights. Customers transiting in Dubai will only be accepted for travel if their connecting flight is operating. Please do not go to the airport unless you have been notified directly by Emirates or hold a confirmed booking for these flights.

Emirates continues to monitor the situation, and we will develop our operational schedule accordingly. 

The latest flight updates will be published on our website. 

Customers are advised to check flight status, review the latest operational updates on emirates.com, and check their email for any notifications about changes or cancellations to their flights before travelling to the airport.

Customer advisory

Customers affected by flight cancellations have these options: 

  • Rebook on an alternate flight. You can rebook on another flight to your intended destination for travel on or before 27 March. If you booked your flight with a travel agent, please contact them. If you booked with us directly, contact us . 
  • Request for refund. You can request for a refund of your ticket if your booking is on or before 12 March by completing the refund form if you booked with us directly. If you booked your flights with a travel agent, please contact them.

Customers impacted by flight cancellations must contact their travel agency for rebooking. If booked directly with Emirates, please contact us.

Customers are requested to ensure their contact details are correct by visiting Manage Your Booking to receive updates.

All city check‑in points across Dubai are temporarily closed until further notice.

Qatar Airways – Operations Update – Qatari Airspace closure

Dear Partner,

Qatar Airways flights operations remain temporarily suspended due to the closure of Qatari airspace.

Qatar Airways will resume operations once the Qatar Civil Aviation Authority announces the safe reopening of Qatari airspace. A further Update will be provided on March 6.

If your client has confirmed booking with a travel date between 28 February and 10 March 2026, they are eligible for : Complimentary date changes of up to 14 days from the original travel date, or a refund of the unused value of their ticket. 

Rebooking : Priority should be given to passengers wishing to return to their country of origin.

For rebooking within 0-1 days before the original travel date, you may proceed as follows:

  • Rebooking for impacted sectors is allowed within 2 days of the original travel date for the same origin and destination.
  • Rebooking is allowed on Other Airline flights (priority to One world carriers) in the lowest available RBD within the same cabin. (Rebooking is not permitted on carriers JQ, LO, or SQ)

Cancellation and Refunds 

  • Refunds must be calculated on the unutilized NUCand refundable taxes.
  • Non‑refundable taxes must not be refunded, except for fully unutilized YQ and YR charges.
  • For partial refunds: refund unutilized NUC + unutilized YQ + YR.
  • Refund must be processed to the original form of payment via GDS (BSP Refunds are not permitted).
  • Refunds may be processed after an involuntary reissue, provided the active segments were cancelled within 15 days of that reissue.
  • Fees, penalties, and non‑refundable taxes already collected remain non‑refundable.
  • For Private Fares, you need to perform an informative pricing (ex: FQP) on the original routing and date to calculate refundable NUCs.
  • You may use ATC for detailed refundable tax breakdown.

Do not forget to manually set cancellation fees to 0.00 EUR.

NDC Bookings: For NDC bookings, travel agents may submit refund requests via the NDC Refund Request tool on the Trade Portal.

Etihad Airways – Regional Flight Disruption 

Regional airspace closures continue to impact Etihad Airways’ operations, and all flights to and from Abu Dhabi are suspended until 06:00 UAE time on Friday 6 March. 

In coordination with UAE authorities and subject to strict operational and safety approvals, a limited number of repositioning, cargo and repatriation flights are operating. Select services are available for sale on etihad.com for travel on 4 and 5 March, where approvals have been confirmed. 

Please advise your guests of the following: 

  • The flight status page on etihad.com may temporarily display original scheduled timings. Updated departure and arrival times will be reflected as soon as they are confirmed.
  • Ensure their contact details are up to date in their booking.
  • Not to travel to the airport unless they have been contacted directly by Etihad and advised to do so. Access to the airport will be restricted for those without confirmed travel documentation.

The situation remains dynamic and schedules may change at short notice.
