Qatar Airways flights operations remain temporarily suspended due to the closure of Qatari airspace.
Qatar Airways will resume operations once the Qatar Civil Aviation Authority announces the safe reopening of Qatari airspace. A further Update will be provided on March 6.
If your client has confirmed booking with a travel date between 28 February and 10 March 2026, they are eligible for : Complimentary date changes of up to 14 days from the original travel date, or a refund of the unused value of their ticket.
Rebooking : Priority should be given to passengers wishing to return to their country of origin.
For rebooking within 0-1 days before the original travel date, you may proceed as follows:
- Rebooking for impacted sectors is allowed within 2 days of the original travel date for the same origin and destination.
- Rebooking is allowed on Other Airline flights (priority to One world carriers) in the lowest available RBD within the same cabin. (Rebooking is not permitted on carriers JQ, LO, or SQ)

Cancellation and Refunds
- Refunds must be calculated on the unutilized NUCand refundable taxes.
- Non‑refundable taxes must not be refunded, except for fully unutilized YQ and YR charges.
- For partial refunds: refund unutilized NUC + unutilized YQ + YR.
- Refund must be processed to the original form of payment via GDS (BSP Refunds are not permitted).
- Refunds may be processed after an involuntary reissue, provided the active segments were cancelled within 15 days of that reissue.
- Fees, penalties, and non‑refundable taxes already collected remain non‑refundable.
- For Private Fares, you need to perform an informative pricing (ex: FQP) on the original routing and date to calculate refundable NUCs.
- You may use ATC for detailed refundable tax breakdown.
Do not forget to manually set cancellation fees to 0.00 EUR.

NDC Bookings: For NDC bookings, travel agents may submit refund requests via the NDC Refund Request tool on the Trade Portal.
