We are strengthening our operations with dedicated repatriation flights and adapting our policies to offer you more options on other airlines.
Our goal: to provide you with all the necessary flexibility to build the most reliable itinerary and to facilitate our customers’ return under the best possible conditions.
Our teams are actively working to increase the options available through other airlines. We invite you to regularly consult our policy updates to see the latest list of partner carriers on which you can easily rebook your customers.
You will find below the link to our commercial policy, applicable for departures until 28 March 2026, including all technical information as well as details related to our JWC Commercial Policy.
Updated guidelines:
Option 1: According to JWC
- Rebooking allowed for a new travel date up to 30 April 2026 into the lowest available RBD within the same cabin on QR‑operated flights that are still scheduled to operate.
Option 2: Additional flexibility for rebooking on OAL operated flight numbers (code-share marketing flight numbers are not permitted):
- Tier 1: Rebooking of all cancelled flights is allowed for a new travel date within 10 days from involuntary ticket reissue on carriers specified here into the lowest available RBD within the same cabin for:
o Same origin and destination
o Alternate airport within the same country
o Alternate airport within a 750-mile International Ticketed Point Mileage (TPM) radius
- Tier 2: Rebooking of all cancelled flights is allowed for a new travel date within 2 days from involuntary ticket reissue on all other carriers where QR has interline agreement (not specified in Tier 1) into the lowest available RBD within the same cabin for:
o Same origin and destination
o Alternate airport within the same country
Option 3: Rebook unused sectors for a new travel date within ticket validity, same origin, destination. Must apply RBD, routing,flight numbers, max. stay, seasonality and blackouts according to fare rules.
Option 4: Qatar Airways is currently operating several dedicated repatriation flights. Eligible passengers are contacted directly by our crisis unit which handles their identification, confirmation, and registration on these flights.
Priority is given to the most vulnerable individuals and travelers who have been stranded for a long period, ensuring their return under the best possible conditions. We kindly ask you to inform passengers not to go to the airport unless they have been contacted in advance by our teams. Access to these flights is strictly limited to officially notified passengers, and no bookings can be made on-site.
